Room to change plans
24 liters is the size that says yes: to the extra layer, the second liter, the route that grew on the drive up. The main compartment is built for layers, loading and unloading without repacking everything above it.

Keep it performing longer
Wipe down after use
Brush out loose debris, wipe buckles and zippers with a damp cloth. Air-dry fully before storing.
Store loosely
Don't compress the pack for long-term storage. Store it loosely in a dry space to maintain foam padding and mesh shape.
Hip belt & straps
Check buckle clips and load lifters every few months. A worn buckle is cheap to replace before it fails on trail.
