New accounts start with 100 Trail Credits — the full first redemption block. Apply it to order one or save it for the trip after. Not a gimmick, not a gate. Just a thank-you for trying a brand you haven't heard of yet.
What it isn't
The things we're not doing.
No tiers.
Every member earns the same rate. We considered a tier ladder and decided it wasn't honest for a brand this new — we don't have purchase-frequency data to design tiers worth earning.
No expiration.
Your Trail Credits stay until you use them. A 'use it by December' rule is a tax on customers who buy gear once a year, which is most of our customers.
No stacking with other promos.
Trail Credits apply to your order subtotal. If a sitewide sale or kit discount is already active, Trail Credits redeem against whichever price you're actually paying. One discount per order keeps the math honest.

When do Trail Credits show up in my account?
Within 24 hours of your order shipping. We don't credit your account at the time of purchase because returns would claw them back — waiting until ship-out keeps the balance accurate.
What happens to my Trail Credits if I return an order?
Trail Credits earned on that order are removed. Trail Credits you've already redeemed on a separate order stay as applied. No claw-backs on completed redemptions.
Can I combine Trail Credits with a promo code?
No. Trail Credits apply to the order subtotal after any sale or kit pricing is applied, so you always get the better price. Stacking rules stay simple by design.
