The short version

Looking at the catalog, reading pages, putting things in a cart, and emailing us doesn't create an account or an obligation on your side — you can leave whenever.

Everything on this site is owned by Alpenstock unless credited otherwise. Product photos, catalog copy, and the site design aren't free to repost, but emailing us for permission is the fastest route.

When you check out, you're making an offer to buy. We confirm by email once your payment succeeds, and that confirmation is what forms the sale. Prices are in US dollars and charged at checkout through Stripe. We work hard to keep prices and availability accurate, but if something is clearly mispriced or out of stock, we may cancel or decline the order and refund you in full — we'll always tell you why.

We ship within the contiguous US; orders placed before 2:00 PM MT on a business day typically ship the next business day, and most arrive in 3–7 business days, tracking included. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for a refund, exchange, or store credit, with a prepaid return label. Earning and redeeming Trail Credits is part of the Trail Rewards program. Credits are tied to your account, have no cash value, and can't be sold or transferred. Program details and current rates are shown in your account and on the rewards pages.

We use passwordless sign-in, so keeping access to your email keeps your account secure. Don't share that access, and tell us at info@alpenstock.com if you think someone else has used your account.

If an order arrives lost, damaged, or wrong, contact us — we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund, your call.

These terms, together with your order confirmation, are the agreement between you and Alpenstock for a purchase. We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Our gear is made for the outdoors, which carries real risk — you're responsible for using it safely and within your own ability.
